We are expanding aggressively and looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager who understands the BGV industry, enterprise sales cycles, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end business development for Background Verification services across India and global markets.
Generate new enterprise leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, strategic partnerships, and industry events.
Identify opportunities with HR teams, recruitment agencies, staffing companies, IT firms, BFSI companies, healthcare organisations, and multinational corporations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with CHROs, HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Managers, Compliance Officers, and decision-makers.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Conduct presentations, sales meetings, product demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients.
Prepare proposals, pricing models, contracts, and service agreements.
Coordinate with operations and verification teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the BGV and HR tech industry.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM reporting.
Represent Cluso Infolink at business conferences, HR forums, networking events, and industry expos.
Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
Required Skills & Experience
7–10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition.
Mandatory experience in Background Verification (BGV), Employee Screening, HR Tech, Recruitment Services, Compliance, or Risk Management industry.
Strong network within HR, Talent Acquisition, Staffing, or Corporate sectors.
Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and achieving revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of employment verification, criminal checks, education verification, address verification, reference checks, and compliance processes.
Ability to work independently and manage high-value client relationships.
Experience using CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
Strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA in Marketing, Sales, HR, or Business Management preferred.
Experience handling domestic and international BGV clients will be an added advantage.
Existing network in HR communities and recruitment ecosystem preferred.
